What's a good price to pay to get nitrous installed? I called up a local performance shop and the guy wante $600 to install a nitrous express kit with bottle heater, bottle preasure gauge, fuel safety switch. Does that seem a little high? Would I definately be able to get it cheaper some place else? Should I maybe try and do it? How long would I be at it?

 

that seems high, but then again you won't find many shops that will do it.

why don't you do it. instructions are your friend - its hard to mess it up it just takes time

I vote for you doing it yourself. I installed mine in about 3 hours. That was taking my time and making sure things were right. That also included running the electrical connections and mounting the switches. Granted, I did it on a fox body, so it is a little different. It's really not that hard though, as long as you take your time.
