What should i build up on my engine before getting the nitrous just to be safe?

 

Depends on what you're getting for a kit and how many HP you're looking to gain. In any scenario, it wouldn't hurt to get a new fuel pump. You may also be looking at new injectors as well (again, depending on the setup.)

if the fuel pump i more than 7 years old or has over 90k on it, get a better one

also run a msd box

thats about it, if the cra runs fine now, you'll have no probs, the fuel and spark upgrades are just for safe measure

if it doesn't run right, adding hp won't help it in whatever way you make it

 

Yea make sure its running optimum performance first. Youll need copper core spark plugs and I would recommend going one stage colder heat range. Nitrous works better and safer with a high flow exhaust. The better the exhaust, the more power you will make. Change the fuel filter and run a can of injector cleaner through the tank before you install the kit.
