Default Nitrous Question

Fellas Im new to Nitrous and could use some advise. What other mods if any should I make before I install Nitrous ? Also should I get a tuner or chip to go along with the Nitrous ?

A bigger fuel pump will probably be a good idea depending on how big of a shot you plan on running and other mods.) If it'a s dry kit, then bigger injectors as well. And you'll probably need to retard the timing (agan, depending on how much nitrous.)

A shot of that size is easy. Just make sure you have a good tune initially along with a little bigger fuel pump like the 190 lph and you should use minimum 92 octane. Other than that you should be fine. By the way,,,, dont use nitrous unless the engine is at full operating temperature and it is above 2500 RPM. Those are the big no no's.

a 100 shot will be fine on your stock fuel pump. i run a 125 wet shot on my 03 gt with my stock fuel pumpbut i wouldnt go any higher than that on the stocky. i also took it to the dyno just to be for certain which is something you might want to think about...

the entire fuel system is fine stock IF it is working properly
going to a 190 is just safe insurance, over 7 years old or more than 100k i would replace it to be safe. eventually you need it, and it's cheaper than a piston or 8

but thats just my opinion
