I am planning on buying a nitrous kit here in about a week or two. I am going to run a 125 shot. I was woundering what kit would you guys recomend?

yup, just not too familiar w/ the 05+ kits so i'm not gonna recommend anything

as far as rep goes though....can't beat NOS , been here forever for a reason

 

The zex kits seem to be the most popular, but i'm going to go with either NX or edelbrock because they both use a plates between the throttle body and intake to inject the nitrous/fuel. I don't feel comfortable squirting gas through my JLT intake with it's huge rubber connector. Check www.brenspeed.com for the zex kit, if you allready have an Xcal tuner he can email you a nitrous tune.

 

The Zex kit works pretty good. However, it does not come with a window switch. I had to have one installed after the fact. I went back and forth on it quite a bit but I'm glad I got it. Most of the kits have TPS but not window switches and your gonna want a window switch so you may want to look into that with the kit now.

If you are not going to get a custom tune buying from somone like Brenspeed is a good idea. You'll want a tune with a 125 shot and it's suggested by Zex if you have additional mods.

Thanks i appreciat it. I was talking to a local shop and they recomended the TNT kit. They said with the ZEX kit it doesn't work all the time with the tps switch.

 

Wow for the price of the kit at dynotunenitrous im sold. lol. Hopefully its not a cheap kit. Has anyone had any experience with this kit?

 

lets say you were to run a 100 shot on a pretty good bolt on car.

would you need a tune? down the road i woudl get a tune but right away would i need it?
