Anyone have a methane kit on there supercharger car? How do you like it and what reaults sid you see?

 

Worked out well for me....the 368 is no methanol and the 416 is with methanol.....not bad from a $189 Mr. Freeze Kit and some winter blend washer fluid....The Meth is worth the money....

 

I would love to see that dyno sheet, because I have a friend with an 04 that is about to do the same set up you have...

 

Yep, love it. Got the Snow performance MAF kit. look at the specs in my sig, I live at 6000'. It upped my boost 1.5 lbs after I put it on.

 

That is a nice kit and is probably the cheapest out there, but he won't be able to use that. He has a Procharger supercharger, which means no Mr. Freeze kit.

 

i went from 360RWHP to 410RWHP when i added my snow performance kit awhile back.

 

I am going next week to get mine, but overall no one has had any problems?

 

No problems with mine, you will need adyno tune to get the additional HP as it comes from more timing advance.

 

You have to get GOOD a tune

The water/meth injection does NOT make power.
It allows more boost or more aggressive timing advance and that is what makes more power.

The ONLY reason ANYONE would EVER have a problem with
water/meth injection is from an improper tune for it.

 

i used to run the mr. freeze kit on my car. picked up about 50rwhp from it. i love it! only reason im not running it anymore is because im going to use some nitrous to keep my new motor cool (the one in my sig)
