Nitrous Pressure Gauge
Ok, so I'm selling my dry nitrous kit, and going with a wet one. The old kit had a nitrous pressure gauge on the bottle, but that is going with the kit. So now I'm going to need a new one. I'm thinking of getting one to mount in the a-pillar. My question is this, do you really have to get an electric guage for the interior? What would be so bad about a mechanical? I don't want to spend $200 when I could just spend $80 and still be safe. Besides, I still need to get a fuel pressure gauge and wideband. I know the reasoning behind an electric fuel pressure in the cabin, and with the cost of a wideband, I just wanna cut some corners here. Any suggestions?
And whatever the outcome may be, what's a good brand that isn't ridiculously expensive? Should I just go with Autometer?

It's illegal to run a nitrous filled line in the cab. A lot of people do it but it's illegal.

actually youCAN run a liquid filled gauge on the interior but.....
you need to use a separator block and it negates the cost factor, liquid filled guages are better though.
you can't have a fuel or nitrous filled guage on the interior because if it breaks or leaks it fills the compartment. you'll NEVER pass tech and won't be able to run at a track. the police don't **** about **** though, so no biggie , it's hiway patrol that knows the dot laws.
ez fix?
mount it on the hood cowl , that way you can see it, and it's outside, thats the best place for it anyways.
the black autometer guage is fine, the phantom or ultra lite (silver faced ones) are hi-dollar

The only problem with mounting it on the hood would be that I'd imagine some bad assed little kid would mess with it. I know it sounds sad, but we do have little ghetto wanna be thugs here in my part of California.....and I don't wanna have to go outside one day and see someone had nothing better to do than take my gauge.....
good reason to get a cowl hood. i have a fuel pressure gauge under the 4" cowl. no one can see it but me and when walking past my car, youd never know it was there but its a big 2-5/8" gauge
