Default F/I Questions, Help me out !?!?

Hey all,
I have an 00' GT with some modist bolt on's. I'm thinking of F/I. The main goal I want for the car is to be a DD/ Strip car. I really cant make up my mind rather I want SC, TT, or Single T. If I were to get a SC should I go with KB or should I go with Paxton? I mean you pay 4G's for a Paxton or you can pay 6G's for the KB. I'm really kind of leaning toward TT because they mount behind the bumper( how sweet is that) less heat in the engine bay and they are the same price as a KB.

I can buy the TT and run low boost until I get the forged shortblock. I dont know what to do. I really want to achieve 600 HP in the long run, but for now I just want a good punch of hitty power. PLEASE anyone that knows anything about either share your knowledge with me. Sotell me what you think Paxton, Vortech, KB, HP TT. Really what I'm looking for is F/Ithat will work at both low boost and high boost until I can buy a shortblock.Which is a more reliable system? Also when I do someday reach the 600hp mark what Tranny? Thanks.

don't get that rear mounted turbo crap if you plan on using it as a DD. if you have 7 grand to fork over, get a TT. there's no contest, period. TT kits for our cars are expensive though, and if you don't install it yourself, they get expensive to install too. then you have to pay to tune it. if you only plan on going to the mid-500s, even a vortech S trim will take you there.

you do realize that in addition to the new shortblock, you'll have to get heads and cams, which well be another chunk of change. then you have to get some dual pumps and upgrade your injectors again, which will be another ~1400. it gets expensive if you want to join the 500 club. [&:]

Deffinitly understandable. 500hp club thats cool, If I can would love to go higher but I still want it to be DD. Money is somewhat of an issue but not when I get the kit I just want to find an all around good kit. HP performance TT kit I think. They dont mount under the rear bumper but the front. I'm certified for collison and maybe I can fiberglass a killer front bumper for those twins . . . ? Keep the opions coming please.

meh.. well you can get a vortech S trim kit for relatively cheap, especially if you find a used one. the S is more than capable of taking you to that magical 500 mark. i still have the S trim on my car pushing 547RWHP. a pro charger kit is also more than capable of getting you some nice numbers. i'm stating these kits because they're the cheapest you can buy, but still excellent build quality.
