i'm still unsure about putting my baby on the bottle. i've been reading that it's safe to run like a 50 wet shot without a tune, 125 with a tune on a stock motor. i'm assuming it won't give me any problems now, but what about long term? is my engine going to start choking at like 50,000 miles? i have about 7500 miles on my car now. i want a nice boost of juice, but i'm not going to do it if it's going to kill my engine.

You need a tune.
Nitrous is no different than any other form of FI
For it to not break stuff, it has to be tuned properly.
My personal opinion from research...
1. Stock 03 GT should get no more then a 150ish shot if you are brave. 100 if you wanna be safe or a 50 if you really want to be safe.
2. Even if you get a 25 shot, go with a flip chip tuned.
3. Ensure you have a WOT switch.
I plan to follow my own advice with a 100 shot and a SCT flip chip (4 position) tuned by the installer. Hopefully sooner then later, but still have not gotten it yet.

Can have a great tune when on and off the juice!
It's what I currently use.
SCT's Flip chip.
