alright thanks i also had some questions, whats the diff between long tunes and shorties, also the coating like jet coating or ceramic can someone shed some light on this for me?
The difference between LT and shorties is just how its said. The LT headers have longer tubes that all end in the collector down beside the tranny. The shorty tubes are shorter and all run into the collector down beside the block of the engine.
Ceramic and jet coating is put on them for longer life span and they also decrease the heat level in the engine bay.
that you'll never use or see......as for the best mac is hardly....people like kooks, jba are some of the best and no you won't find them in the 300 range.....in a supercharge/turbo set yes lt might be the way to go as for more hp/torque the lt's won't out do shorties..
I would have to disagree with longtubes under a power adder or not create more torque at least 10+ rwhp more through the power band, but the HP will be close to the same. Every little bit helps.
