what header and mid pipe combo would be inexpensive and do justice to slp loudmouths that i plan on getting for a 93 GT.

i was just looking up the same question i cant help alot but heres what i got. you have to go long tube headers the shorties dont give any extra hp then stock well maybe 1 or 2 but thats it while long give 10 to 15hp so theres a huge diffrence there. and midpipes i hear that x gives about 2 to 3 hp more then h pipes so the best combe would be long tube headers and an x pipe. as far as brand goes i found from what other people said that there isnt much diffrence as far from brand to brand im getting BBK not the best out there but there better then some and if you want to spend more you could spend maybe 200 or 300 more dollars and only get another 4 or 5 hp out of it so i dont have the money for to spend on that kinda hp i wouldnt even notice. but when you get headers and midpipes go with the same brand for each one! if you go BBK get BBK headers and mid pipes if you go MAC get MAC both thats really important because they will fit much easyer that way there made to fit with eacher. so bottom line the 2 things you need to know is get long tube headers and buy the same brand of each!!! the rest wont make to much of a diffrence weather you want x or h pipes and what brand you like those 2 things will only make 2 or 3 hp diffrence where the long tube headers and the same brand will help you get 25 or 30 hp alteagher. im still looking this stuff up so ask me if you have any questions.

 

you can buy summit short's they are the same as bbk and the mid pipe is more of a sound preference then anything x for a high pitch noise H for the lower rumble. but X is good for maybe about 1-2 extra hp. so really doesnt matter which you pick
