Thanx fellas.
Thanx fellas.
how much boost are you running. all you need to do is loosen the distributor hook up a timing light start the car point the timing light at the balancer turn the distributer til the timing pointer is hitting between 6 or 8 degrees depending on the boost.
Im using a 8lb pully and im running autolite plugs. Now my one buddy said to start fresh on the timing, said get number 1 TDC and go from there. But once i get number 1 TDC then what do i do?
Did you pull out the distributor for some reason during the installation? I don't see any reason to go through all of that if you never touched anything other than adding a supercharger. Just follow these steps here to retard the timing.
Yea i figured that!!! i got it! all i needed was a good timing gun and remove the chip in the harness! i got it. I set the timing a 8* do you think i should go lower? o and my buddy said it wouldnt hurt to run platnum plugs?!?!
