i been waiting for a custom tune for a few days now cause i had to reflash my ecm with the factory progam so that the predator could read and save the original backup and then go from there, so the guy dowmloaded what he calls a base tune, he ask me for tire size, gears, air mass sensor size and injectors size. whats a base tune, how much powedoes it offer and is it safe? i have a vortech s/c with trick flow manifold 75mm throttle body, 42lb injectors 3.73 gears andintercooler.

 

A base tune is just a safe tune. It'll make your car a bit rich until you get on the dyno to get it perfect. It just allows you to safely drive your car. Power will be down a bit until you can get it on adyno and check the a/f.
