Default A few supercharger Questions

Just a few questions:
Whats the difference between the Vortech V-1 S-Trim and the V-2 SQ ?
How does satin look compared to polished? Does that affect performance?
Can you use he system without an intercooler?
How much difference does having an intercooler make?

Any help is appreciated and sorry if any of these question seem stupid or have already been answered.

you can run the system w/o an intercooler - but not recommend for apps over 350 rwhp, many people you boost coolers instead (i dont like them). The V-1 is louder (alot louder) and the v2 has a faster step up ratio and an improved impeller design - so think of it like this V1<V2<Ttrim. The s trim will make about 16-18 psi and make about 550-600 rwhp on a fully built HCI motor. Polishing does not effect performance - or even resale value for that matter - it just looks good (even though i dont think so )
The v1 and v2 are simular quality and performance, the v2 is better however, its more inline with a p-1sc (and will make a little more power)

umm a good price for the V-2 installed, tuned and non intercooled would be about 4900. and on a 2v, ur gunna see power right around 280-290. but if u live in florida or a hot state it could overheat if ur really beating on it. where do u live bc i can recommend an excellent guy thatll do it for that price with a fully custom dyno tune?
