Default Boost-A-Pump Question??

Why 20 amp or why 40 amp?? My tuner says he thinks I need a boost-a-pump before we dynotune. He doesn't think the pump will send enough fuel for my boost and possible NOS use. I see that there are 20 and 40 amp versions and don't understand which is for what. Here's what I have if it helps to answer. ALSO, do you agree that I need it? Sorry if the answer is obvious. I just don't know. Thanks.

2000GT, alum Teksid Cobra block, Cobra crank, dished forged pistons, forged h-beam rods, 2 valve,ported/polished, but stock PI heads/cams, 62lb Siemens injectors, Aerommotive fuel regulator, 1/2" fuel lines/billet rails, 03/04 Cobradual fuel pump in Cobra tank,Procharger P1SC w/ 3.1" pulley (15lb boost pulley), Bullit intake/throttle body, 90mm Lightning MAF, will use NOS in s/c tube to cool charge air (prob 75 shot).

My tuner also told me that i needed a boost a pump.He said it was to make sure that you dont run lean, with the supercharger. I only have 42lb injectors and i dont have as much engine work as you so im guessing the same would go for your setup too

it really depends how much power you are looking for

Tuner says we will end up with about 550-560 RWHP using a moderately aggressive tune. I don't want to tune/run it at 100% capacity. Just don't want the fuel supply to be the weak link. HOW ABOUT THE 20 amp vs. 40 amp issue? What is the difference or application of those two boost-a-pumps?? Anyone??

My tuner told me the same thing. He told me to get the 40A pump because it put out more so I did. He said there's no since in getting the smaller one and just having to replace it later. Funny thing is that I have the svt 255 lph focus pump and the boost a pump turned all the way up and still hit 98 % duty cycle with 434 rwhp.

I guess that whenever you upgradea partto not be the limiting issue, then some other partbecomes the limiting issue!
