damn man, your engine looks too much like mine not the prettiest but nice looking ceramics lol, but, how did you get the dipstick way over there?!
Oh that was a while ago, I bet the **** out of the dipstick and broke it so I just duct taped it to the side since it was partially attached, but now I have a new one, and its mounted correctly. When I was installing the headers, I didnt know the dipstick pops in and out so easily.....

No, they make catted short mid-pipes.

THey place the 02 sensors too far from the engine, which causes it to read weird. Also, they will fail visual inspection in most states.
Oh, I dont see what the point of cats would be on it though if you cant put O2 sensors in.

Hey guys,

Does anyone know if headers make a noticible performance difference and if they make the exaust sound different. also what is a good brand of header.
Thanx.
No. They don't. Especially shorty headers which give only a 3 to 5 rwhp increase on dyno. Long tubes are better but are extremely hard to install even by experts. Lets put it this way: header cost plus labor cost vs HP gain, simply don't add up.

I seen that slow engine somewhere before hehe, Tom why wont LT's pass?
B/c you cant use cats or O2's with them, the mid pipe is wayyy too short.
