Default Blower

Hello, sorry I am a complete idiot when it comes to cars, but I've been reading around here trying to get my stuff straight. I have a 95 V6 3.8 Auto and I wanted to add some power, seeing as it has none. I found a blower on e-bay, I was wondering what else, if anything, I will need to install this, and what kind of gains I should expect. A blower is part of the entire supercharging system correct? Is it possible to just hook up the blower. Thank~Tony

Ever think about waiting more than 1 hour & 25 minutes for a reply? You need to modify your fuel system to supply more fuel to the engine, find a way to mount it, fabricate plumbing for it, & find a way to supply it with lubrication (oil).

Get the Feb. copy of 5.0 magazine. There is a nice SC add on to the 05 GT mustang. I am considering this option as well. I won't be piece'n my own system together, because like you, I just don't know enough to pull it off. Just not worth the headache, lost time, or even worse wasting the engine, and still having to redo it all.

I will buy a reputable kit, install it myself, then enjoy the final "optimal system" preformance.

Best of luck !!

Even if you could mount that, your engine wouldnt handle it, Nor would anything else on your car being that its a v6.

Save your money Tony. It would cost you 3-4 grand to do a proper 3.8 SC setup. I still don't understand why people dump cash into a Mustang V-6 to make it faster. I don't mean to hate, but that's jmo. You can spend 5 g's and still not break 350 hp...BUT..fast Mustang V-6's are rare (on the street). But do as you wish man.
