Default a big difference?

I plan on purchasing an o/r x pipe for my 00gt. I see there is a big difference in price, but is there a big difference in anything else? I see one from mustang tuning for 169. I also see others listed in the upper 300. ( bassani). Any advice whatsoever in this purchase would be greatly appreciated.

the one from mustangtuning is aluminized and even looks like it's very cheap. O/R pipes are cheaper cause they don't have any cats on it, which is better for flow anyway and give a little extra unf. not to mention a nice volume increase. if you have emissions testing in your state, don't get O/R. you won't pass.

Im in South Carolina so I don't need to worry about emmission checks. Is it worth paying the extra money for say a bassani x? I mean $169 versus $359?

If you want top of the line quality, then its up to you if you how much you want to spend. If money isn't a problem, bassani is probably the best quality you can get in the long run. But I hear the magnaflow X is very nice as well, and I believe its price is somewhere in between the mustang tuning and bassani.

I just wouldn't suggest getting a cheap brand tho. Its always nice to pay a little extra and know that you have very nice quality. I'm not raggin on the mustang tuning one b/c I have no experience with it, I just rather go the tried and true route...

I have the Bassani O/R X and its Stainless Steel and the welds are of great quality. I would suggest Bassani any day of the week.
