computers
There are a ton of choices out there. Probably the cheapest route is a stock PCM with a MAF and a chip set up for your setup. This is a simple setup that will work fine if you dont go crazy with boost. There are also a lot of aftermarket computers that are fully programmable. They are expensive, but offer infinite tuning ability. This is good to fine tune your ride or if you plan on changing parts often. They are a good choice if you have the money. Checkout AEM for one. There are many others, this is just the one that pops into my head and it plugs into the stock harness and uses stock sensors. Just do a little research (google) and you will come up with what works for you.
Two words, stand-alone, they are freaking amazing. After seeing a SA system at the races this weekend im starting every EFI build with one, amazing just amazing. The system i saw measured barometric pressure, ambient air temp, boost pressure, boost temp, all eight exhaust temps, all eight AFRs...amazing i want one, everything that can affect HP it monitors, it is worth the extra weight and money.

i would run the stock cpu. chip, maf setup, unless your going to be doing data logging and making serious power you will be fine with that, if anything you can run a piggy back system and some times save a little rather then spending the $1200 or more on a stand alone
