Default Cat Elimination

I am considering eliminating all four cats on my 2002 V6. Does anyone have or has anyone posted a how to? I know the easy answer is to unbolt each and replace with a straight tube from a muffler shop. But are there additional details? What about the O2 sensors?

first you can't just "unbolt" just the cats, you would have to replace the whole mid-pipe. of you wanted to be cheap you can cut the cats out but the new pipe would have to be welded back together!

second thing is getting the check engine light off. you can do this 1 of 3 ways. you can buy a clip-in MIL Eliminators (about $80-$100), you can hardwire the MIL Eliminators (about $20-$30), oryou can make your own MIL Eliminators ($10 at Radio-shack)!

if you know anything about wiring check this site for making your own MIL Eliminators; http://www.zx2racing.com/pages/artic...liminators.htm

and there you go, everything you need to know about getting rid of your cats!
