fine, but what's wrong with taking the hood off?

 

I think it may produce some small number as far as HP. But there are a lot of other things that are more practical. Keep in mind that the psi of the blower has to exceed the manifold pressure of the motor. Definitely interesting if nothing else!!!!!!

 

Im gonna do it in a week or two when I have some time to bring a repo home. Ill let you know how it goes

what if you just hooked the leaf blower directly into the air intake and take tentire filter off the intake and just like wrap a screen or somethin round the tip of the blower for a filter? would that work at all.

Or maybe if you really want to get daring go out toa junk yard and get another air intake hose piece, cut a hole in it so the blower would fit into it and the air from the blower would be like a "helper"
