Nitrous Bottle heater(NOS brand)
So I installed a nitrous bottle heater from Checkers. I paid like 119 for it, the brand is NOS.
SO I installed the bottle heater and it raises my pressure to 600 and then the heater turns off(bottle was open). Why is this heater turning off?
Thanks[&:]

1st off, are you sure your pressure guage is working ?
2nd...is the bottle full ? if there is only 3 lbs or less, you won't get any more than 600 out of it, weight it
finally....there are 2 t-stats on the NOS heater (last time i had that kind) one is the main the other is a backup.....if you bypass the main and only use the backup you can raise the cutoff temp by about 10* so it goes to about 80* instead of 70*, but you have other issues other than , you need to double the temp to double the pressure, thats how it works
also......try to get a temp on the bottle when it shuts off, or just after it has been on a while
i have a feeling your bottle is almost empty

Where are you t-stats placed? I had the same problem, now I tape mine to the lower bottom of the bottle, away from the heater, and it holds a steady 1100 psi until almost empty. I havent taken a temp reading but it gets the top pretty warm.
