I installed the off road x pipe with super 40s flows and turndowns..i didnt like the way it sounded so i replaces the flows with a set of cherry bombs (glasspacks) still dont like the way it sound..im about to just say forget about the off road x and put back on my factory h pipe and hollow out the cats and try out the super 40s on it..i dont know..its just not loud enough for me..i liked the way it sounded before i did anything and that was just with regular flowmasters and the factory mid pipe..and needless to say..the ones i had on before had rusty old holes in them..i was just looking for something more agressive..any sugestions before i waste more money?

dude i got an VRS aluminized x pipe and flows and it sounds awesome but ive got longtubes... i love the way it sounds

 

go with the offroad h-pipe...it's got the typical mustang rumble...you'll love it.

 

You have to remember he is putting this on a 32 valve Cobra motor. The sound is much different. I have flows, X-pipe. My dad has Flows and a X-pipe. Both catless and his is BBK also. 2different sounding cars. Also im not sure what youre looking for because the Cobra sounds nasty with BBK X-pipe and flows. It is deep down low and growls and screams at higher RPMS. Great sound.

But anyhoo, flows and an offroad x will sound like *** anyhoo.
Atleast up high.

Makes it sound VERY tinny.
Switch to packs and let everyone know how much you enjoy your car

xpipes may sound like *** topend...but they perform. i can almost promise you the hpipe is what you're looking for though.

 

OB, youre comming for a ride in my dads Cobra. He has BBK X, and flows. It does NOT sound tinny, like my 16 valve. Doesnt sund like *** up top either..... DAMn i wanna give you a ride RIGHT now cause i want you to belive me.
