if I was to get a 03 cobra engine for my 97 gt would my97downpipe bolt right up to the cobras manifold?

A downpipe is normally charaterized on a turboed car. I think you are talking about a midpipe. Yes, that should bolt right up.

I see, so the stock exhaust system should line up and bolt on to the 03 cobra engine, thanks Iv always heard of the part of the exhaust that bolts to the manifold being called the downpipe.It is actually called the midpipe
