HELP!!!NITROUS QUESTION!!
absolutely it will help
probably will need to be tuned to be safe on your '05, you'll be gaining almost 100 hp w/ that 50.
50 from the added nitrous, and another 50 from lost hp robbed by heat
did you get it tuned when you did the blower ?

I know some people will dissagree with me but nitrous on top of a blower is a great idea. I have a very rich 75 shot on mine and it made 75 more hp and 130 more lbs of torque. It's very very rich as well so it would do much better if I leaned it out some. Bob is right about the effects of nitrous on a blower car, especially a roots style blower. It will produce a good bit more power than the shot is for. Especially on non intercooled cars.
Yea its all been tuned. Bob now your making me nervous with 100hp.I have about 450 now so with 100 more on stock,I think that might be to much.I dont understand how you tune it for Nitrous when your not using it all the time like a blower.Yes it is a roots.Do they make a 25shot? Thanks guys, much needed help.......
i'm sure you could jet it for 25, but i don't know the jetting combo.
i can get you 50-200 but no lower and no higher on a dry kit
but i have a question ???? do you really need to bump any more? or are you having any detonation issues that you need to cool it ?
i'm just thinking you have 450 now...why push it ?
if 100 seems too much, leave it alone, don't fix what isn't broken
if your having detonation issues, dump some timing or add some octane
if your NOT having detonation issues...learn the car better, tweak what you have.
bump timing, dump octane........see what i'm saying ?
but know what you need to do in what weather.....you really wanna be as lean as CAN possibly be......safely....to make the most power
track time tells you all of that, plus time w/ the car
note all the details...humidity , temp etc when you go to the track
read the plugs too...sparkknock isn't always making noise...read the plugs after runs, and look at mph in a run...not ET

I was thinking the same thing. Do I realy need anymore? The answer is probably no.I realy don't have any problems it runs perfect now,why mess with something thats not broken.I was just checking to see what i could do with some Nitrous and still stay stock, but your right why push it,I could end up with problems I don't want.THANKS for the info it HELPED out......
