did you know that nitrous cannot...no matter what .....burn, start a fire, or explode ?
it's not flammable in the least bit , it's just an oxidizer , but one that is extremely cold, and separates into it's original particles at the perfect temp for an internal combustion engine.
so those flames you see are not really from a bad tuned car...it's most likely from a leaky fuel line or some other fuel component that broke.
i like blowers too, i just don't care for all the byproducts...mucho extra heat , highcylinder pressure everytime you start it up stressing parts, head unit wearing out and needing to be rebuilt, head gasket issues.
diffrent strokes for diffrent folks i guess

There is a lot of misconception about nitrous.
PS -- So when a forced induction motor is initially started, cylinder head pressure occurs thatcauses stress on parts, heads and head gaskets?Do all chargers do this? Or just roots type chargers that give off low end torque -- basically from ignition --as a KB or Whipple.
Vortechs start giving boost after 3000 rpm and the boost comes on gradually, not instantaneously as the Cobra type chargers do. So would a Vortech stress the engine on initial start up? Please clarify this. I can't see why it should, it runs on pure engine until boost hits at whatever rpm 3000 or so....

Vortech Mondo bypass valves are very big -- and you have 2? Why? Where can they possibly fit under the hood? And you want a mini in addition or as a swap?
I just have one mini and it takes care of all surging. Mustang runs very smooth. A fantastic mod.
I have the 8 rib set up too. Had some troubles with it at first. Needed shimming....With it, was able to run 2.78 pulley with not belt slip.
I never did like the meth concept. Just didn't like the notion of depending on a bottle so to speak. But they do work. I know guys who have them. They use washer fluid. 40 plus HP gains.
As far as fuel? I had to go wtih 60lb jects, Cobra Tank, Cobra Ring, heavy gauge wire kit, 1"lineand 2 GT 500 pumps -- a $2600 system installed. I use the fuel rails that came with the FoxLake P51 intake. No troubles.

i got 40RWHP from my old meth kit when i had it on. it's nice, but once i started running ~17psi, chris told me to get rid of it. it's not cooling for shat at the higher boost levels, and isn't worth putting a higher flowing pump on. then i'd be going through fluid like crazy.

because it's surging even with the 2. 20psi doesn't like those mondo valves. chris wants to get rid of them and put on the vortech mini race bypass, then put the new fuel rails on and get me some real power. they're shopping around for the best deal right now and are going to get back to me. they have a backlog of cars to take care of too first. couldn't believe i was 7RWHP away from the 600 club!

Sell those Mondos on Ebay and get back some of your money. You'll like the Vortech mini race bypass valve! It will cost you about $235. Plus labor for the 2 welds. Worth every cent.
600 club. Wow! Now that is borderline insane! But ya gotta love it!

the rice guys will stop filling at a certain psi, and call it full. then charge you 10 lbs
when in fact...my bottle always has at least 2-3 pounds left in it when i fill it.
another fact is that psi rises w/ heat....just because it is 1200 psi it's not necessarily full
compressor fills cause big heat and fake bottle pressure that you can't reproduce w/out a torch
they don't HAVE to freeze it...but if they use a compressor they should have it in cold water and at least chill it for a bit and during the fill. just like a SCUBA tank
as far as the blower stuff ??? i have no idea, i'm not a blower guy....i figure when the impeller is spinning it's making boost...not big boost but something

Yeah the zex bottles do leak if they freeze um. I had mine filled for the first time and i ended up paying for 7lbs of n20. I was pretty pissed so i asked the guy that filled my bottle to check the o-ringcome to find out there was noo-ring in there so i ended up payingfor the wasted n20 and got a free o-ring outof it.Havent had any problems with it since. Justthought idput that out there in case some onegets a zex kit play it same and put in an o-ring its 2 dollar insurace.
