hey, i dont have much experience with exhaust......

but i have an 03 GT with auto tranny

its pretty much stock except for a predator tune and very soon sum 3.90 gears....

but i want to up the exhaust a bit....i have about a 600$ budget for this prodject....however i can be a lil flexable with that.....

what should i get to have a lil more power and a deeper sound?

There are approximatley 59693 different setups you can go with lol.

First off, does your state have emission testing? If it does, are you willing to switch out your off road pipe for the stocker, or are you willing to pay a few more bucks for the catted pipe?

What type of sound are you looking for? ***** out loud? Deep and mellow? A classic mustang sound?

All are important questions.

Everyone will say to get what they have gotten (Personally I went with the borla stinger catback and mac o/r Prochamber) Nanaki and Acer will talk about SLP, others will talk about Magnaflow/Magnapacks, others yet will talk about Bassani or Flowmasters.

Lots of different choices.

You can't get a much better combo in terms of loud and mellow than the Stinger IMO. Bassani is nice as well. I would suggest going with a catted H pipe, and matching it up with the Stingers or Bassanis catback, you could also go with a catted PC, but i've never heard that.

 

Magnaflow catback and Magnaflow catted X pipe.

 

SLP Catted X-pipe and SLP LM 1's U can not beat it and the actual exhaust system is more reasonably priced than Borla, Borsanni, Flowmaster etc. The Catted X-pipe is pricey though

 

Without a doubt I agree. That or Borla Stingers with a catted X. Borlas/MagnaFLOWS sound the same, very good IMO.

There was some exhaust judging thing in a long video with guys would drive their car past the judges etc., to make a long story short, the Borla Stingers were judged best.

 

but its all on how you prefer your taste of an exhuast note. were the judges senior citizens?
