Default Dual Exhaust

Im 17 and I have a question. Im new to this stuff so sorry if I sound like an idiot. My parents just recently bought a Ford Mustang V6. I get to use this car although its theirs. But i showed my dad peoples exhausts on youtube and i know he loved it, he just doesnt want to admit it. Im looking for flowmasters or a good dual exhaust system to put on my mustang. Here is a question...Is it relatively easy to put dual exhaust on by myself or would i want to spend money having a mechanic do it for me? And whats the difference between a H-Pipe and a Y-Pipe?

Default RE: Dual Exhaust

it's pretty hard to put the exhaust on by yourself, i would get a shop to do it. It is cheaper to buy an exhuast from a shop or something and have a shop put it on, but that might void your warranty, so you might want to look into buying a dual exhuast from ford, they will install it for you and your warranty won't be voided. only problem is the cost, i got dual exhaust put on my 08 v6 stang from ford and it sounds great, but it cost like $900
