Wet sprays fuel in along with the nitrous. Dry sprays only nitrous.

dry is the easiest to use BUT fuel is delivered 2 diff ways in dry kits.

either fuel is spiked by vacuum like in the nos edelbrock and zex kits (preferred) or it is spiked by freezing the maf by spraying b4 the maf (not a great way to do it) like the venom or cold fusion kits and also the compucar bottle in a bag (biab)

wet is a more general term since there are wet nozzle kits, wet plate kits (tb plates) , true wet plate kits (between upper and lower intakes) and also direct port kits (one nozzle for each cylinder)

imo , a wet tb plate is no better than a single nozzle, it is exactly the same, a real plate kit is much safer than a either of the 2 cheaper wet kits since it elimintaes fuel puddling in the upper intake that is roughcast and will hold fuel and make a potential dangerous situation.

direct port is by far the best way to go, but pretty expensive

if you want 125 hp or less.... just do a dry kit, thats my opinion after 3 dry kits

if i ever want 150 or more... i'll do a nos big shot kit w/ a gt40 plate

basically in order how i listed is the hp gains from least from greatest, 50-150 is typical for dry , wet nozzle and tb plate.

100-250 is pretty typical for a real plate kit, and 300-1000+is for a direct port kit

also in order of ease, as i posted

most common are dry kits and either single nozzle or tb plate wet kits

best brands imo are : NOS, NX, edelbrock (carbon copy of NOS), and trick flow, compucar are good kits too but no experience w/ one of them

if your planning to spray a v6 car, spray about 75 on it. i thikn you'll knock off 1.5 seconds of et and be safe as long as the fuel system is working properly. 1.5 seconds et is like 15 car lenghts in the 1/4 mile or similar to almost 150 hp on a 13 second car (the slower you are.. the more the hp helps out)

to give you an idea... my '90 vert aod knocked 1.5 seconds and went from a 15.10 to a 13.60
w/ a zex dry kit jetted at 100
but my '89 notch only knocked about .7 and went from 13.20 to 12.50 on 75 jets on a nos 5115 dry kit

my current car knocks off 1 second and goes from 13.90 to 12.90 on nos 5115 jetted at 80
