so i have the plate system on a 1999 gt..i took it to go get dyno tuned and with a 125 shot it made 290 whp and 350 wtq..we dropped a 150 shot in it and it mad the same exact numbers..so i changed the solenoid, took the plate off made sure theres no blockages anywhere. I noticed on the street it would kick in and out sometimes it would work for a second then thats it. The only other thing that i think it could be is a "bad" window switch. Any ideas??

 

was it burning super rich or something of the sort?

most kits make burn real rich to keep it safe.

maybe your ignition cant handle it? im unsure, as i dont have alot of experence, but there are some ideas

 

you may be runnin extremely rich. Was there any black smoke comming out ur exhaust?
thats only about 50% of ur shot.
going to 150 was a bad idea if u were having problems, could have really messed up ur car like that.

 

The NX jet chart for the 2v plate kit is insanely rich. It told me to run a 73/41 jet and my A/F's were in the 9's!!!!!!!! I had to back the fuel down to a 35, and it's still just hitting 11.2.

Get a wideband, and a couple smaller jets and you'll have this thing figured out in no time.

 

bypass the window switch for starters and see if it sprays consistent

if it's in and out you have electrical issues... no matter how phat it was... it would make something more than nothing
