Default Compressed bends?

i was just wondering how bad compressed bends are for your exhaust...my true dual set up has them and it seems like it gets down to 1 1/4 in in one area...does that hurt my power and torque?...just wondering cuz im about to get a mandrel bent x-pipe (thank god)...been waitin forever for it...Mustang Tuning takes some time to get those things shipped i guess....but i was just wondering about compressed bends for future references....later

Compression bends will hurt flow alot, and exhaust system is only as good as it's weakest point (or biggest restiction). A compression bent 2.5 inch system will be choked down to around 1.75-2 inchs depending on the degree of the bend.

My friend said he got 11awhp by replacing all of his bends with smooth angle mandrels. This was also a turbo'd car though, I'm not sure about n/a. A turbo'd car's best exhaust is no exhaust.
