What must be done to the engine internally? New pistons, push rods. i know you need new injectors but do i need anything else i have a aftermarket intake? Do i need a bigger throttle body? What would be my final horsepower numbers with a supercharger?

you dont nessesarily need forged internals to have a supercharger. some say you can get a way with 9 lbs of boost. someone on this site said he got a way with 10 lbs of boost. just make sure you get it tuned properly and it should last a while with a safe amount of boost. you will probally need a bigger fuel pump, bigger injectors once you get over a certain amount of power with the supercharger. a maf calibrated for the new size injectors. can anyone else add anything here.

Boost isnt the engine killer with F/I. The thing that matters most is the tune. I believe MD is running a 13lb pulley with his setup. The only thing that keeps people from going higher is the fact the engine components cant hold up to the HP levels the S/C is cranking out. The engine can take the boost but it cant take detonation. 9PSI is more than fine with a stock application. If you get the tune, the only thing holding you back are HP numbers breaking weak points such as rods. Remeber, predetonation will fuxor your sh-t up .

Keep the boost at a reasonable level, 8-11 psi and you should be fine as long as you have the fuel and the tune to back it up. Make sure your fuel pump will be adequate and everything will go smoothly. Youll be taking that aftermarket intake off to install the S/C. Anything else you add wont be necessary but will allow the S/C to breath better, giving you more power through added boost.
