Default will shorty headers really make a diff?

Hey i'm a newbie on here and i had a question.....I recently bought a set of shorty headers, throttle body, thottle body spacer, and cold air intake for my 2007 Mustang GT/CS......how much difference will this actually make in my car? I've heard mixed answers......

a good difference, I have experience with both now, and I would say that for street cars, average folks, shorties are fine, the main difference to me is the sound, long tubes sound really good, but I think its just one of those imaginary differences for the most part. Now your throttle parts were probably a waste of money at this stage in the game, but they to will help, you need to get a high flow or catless mid pipe... I think 30hp increase with a tune would not be unreasonable

You'll pick up HP, but you will also need a tune...I would go with a SCT

The shorty headers will not neccessarily give you an hp/tq boost. What they will do is move your powerband around so that you receive more at some peak ranges, notably down low.

do they really do that much for the 3vs? on our 2vs, the shorty headers are almost pointless...LTs are good for 7-10 rwhp though

I've noticed a little difference with my shorties especially down low. They are a pain to put on though. Don't really know about the 3v's but it made my car sound more muscular. I agree with everyone else buy a tuner. The SCT is very, very easy to use and the guys from Breenspeed are very customer friendly. I would also invest in some gears and once again the tuner will help you calibrate your odometer.
