Default Input on what exhaust to get anyone? 07 Mustang GT

It is an 07 Mustang GT..looking for a deep 60's muscle car tone..similar to the Shelby in American Gangster actually.

Looking for more of an Axel-Back system and lookin to spend no more then like 500.

What do you guys think? I was thinking the Cherry Bomb axel backs sound good as do the American Thunder Flowmasters.

pypes make an "exhaust" i guess you could call it.

its like $300 and all it really does is get rid of yur mufflers, and put just pipes in its place, no muffler.

they sound amazing, ive not heard it in person, but the video's ive heard of this kit would make me buy em if i have a 05+ 'stang.

it might not be a very "clean" sound though.

if you want deep and "clean" id prob go with flowmasters, remember that the american thunder exhaust is pretty quiet when you have cat's
good luck.

You are doing the right thing and asking questions. I had my mind set on buying flows and a X-pipe. Every one I talked to including the guys on this site informed me that Flows (because they are chambered) will not sound good with the X-pipe. I also wanted that old school sound (5.0) so I bought a o/r h-pipe. Man does it sound good. Total cost including installation a little over $800.00. There is a guy that has a very expensive exhaust set up and everyone including him said that my car has the more deep tone sound.

What are your thoughts on the Borla Cat-Back Stingers?

Will I get a good deep throaty sound from that? As well as pretty loud?

My main concern is I will choose a new system, only to not have it that much louder then stock.

Specifically I am looking at this.

I'm a little older (39) so I like the old school 5.0 muscular sound. When I think of Mustang I instantly think flowmasters. Remember just because it cost more dosen't mean it's better. Once again I love how my car sounds. Had a guy from my job said that when I took off from a light (I was on it a bit) he could actually feel the loudness of my exhuast in his car. This is coming from a guy that has a Trans Am. If I were you I would google mustang exhuast or go on you tube. They have some awesome cars on there. Moral of the story get what's best for you.

I didn't read the above posts, but I have always enjoyed the good ol' Flowmaster sound It has the deep note we're all looking for but isn't irritatingly loud.

Thoughts on Boom Tube Axel Backs?

They are a bit cheaper and in my price range and also sound pretty loud.
