Pacesetter LTs
Hey guys, I don't get over here to post very often but, I thought I would share this one.
Last weekend I decided to finally install the Pacesetter ceramic long tube headers, OR X pipe, and JBA SS cat back in my 99 GT.
First, I underestimated the time it would take! I didn't drop the K frame and that resulted in a 9 hour install! Next time, I will drop the K frame!
The Pacesetter LTs fit was far above what I expected! A few people said the quality would suffer but, these are a quality set of headers! They fit the car perfectly!
The X pipe could have been a half inch longer, but fit great none the less. I was worried about this fitting with my auto trans but, that turned out to be no problem
The cat back was awesome! Fit, quality, materials, etc.
The car sounds awesome! It used to have a SLP catback on it with the stock manifolds and H pipe.
Feels like it pulls harder at 3500 RPM, but I will make a dyno run next month to check it out.
In finishing: All of the parts were better than expected, and that is a cool thing that doesn't happen all the time!
I would definately suggest Pacesetter headers if they all are like these.

Yes, I got the ceramic coated headers.
I thought Pacesetters were garbage until I got these! They are really good! Nice, clean welds and piping, thick flanges, really nice looking coating. Perfect fit! Totally changed my opinion.
I had to unbolt and lift the engine as high as possible, and then do a contortionist act with both my hands and the headers! It can be done this way but, it would be tons easier to remove the K frame!
Had to get the car high enough to stand the headers on end to install them.
Not a easy driveway install!
Hopefully, I will be able to get a sound clip after this weekend.
