adding two snails to exhaust system
Well, I have been doing research on sizing up turbos for my car. I am planning on building a Teskid block and running twin turbos on the car. I am looking for some help/recommendations on what turbos to run. Yes, I said turbos. I am pretty much set on twin turbos.
I have been looking at Garrett turbos in particular. Their site gave a lot of useful info but, I couldnt properly do their formulas since I didnt know what a/f ratio I was looking for and so on. I was only able to do a bit on their basic formulas that dont take into account the weather/af/etc...
Anyone have some suggestions??? I am open to different brand and such but, I think Garrett is the only company w/ ball bearing turbos or their at the forefront of that technology. I am looking for a fast spooling set up for a street car. It will be seeing 450rwhp normally w/ provisions for more boost and power when needed. I was also planning on keeping it 281 c.i.
Thanks.

i run twin 57mm. they will do 450rwhp easy. they can support 800fwhp tho so you will have room to grow.
i wouldnt waste the money on ball bearing turbos. go to theturboforums.com and do a search. some one posted about this and it was unanimous, BB turbos are a waste unless you really need your turbo to spool a split second faster. for a street car your just throwing cash away.
and 11:1-11.5:1 on the afr is a good place to be
