im looking at trading for a used KB 1.7 and seeking tips at what to look for to see if its in good shape. i asked for some pics of the rotors tonight and some of it in general. he is not the original owner of it, but he thinks there is about 30k on it


it needs a intercooler pump and hoses, would i be able to use a cobra pump and regular 3/4 hose??





also i was looking on youtube, 1.7's dont seem to whine at all..... or do they?

 

your car looks exactly like mine except for the wheels and a few other things. the cobra pump will work. buy the kb.

deff take a look at the rotors. if they seem pretty worn and depending on how much you are paying for it i would suggest sending it to kenne bell so they can freshin it up a bit just imo.

 

any idea what they cost?

i looked online and found a a place that will do it for $625
