hey guys im new to tha site and im trying to get some advice on what way should i go with my car to get the deep loud sound i see on these youtube videos..no cats?....strait pipe?...is there a website that i can hear diffrent sounds and find out what i like?.....all help is appericated

thats a tuff question, cuz everyone is different

i can say 2 things though.....

1) most people opt for something like 2 chamber flows or mac + OR + whatever 1 5/8" header you choose. i only use long tube headers, shorties are not worth the trouble

2) if you want it to sound like total a$$ go w/ no cats/ str8 pipes.... the lack of backpressure will make it snap-crakle-pop everytime you lift even slightly

mine is stock header's, Off-road H pipe, Mac flowpath catback.

love my set up, super deep, and sounds amazing.

flowmaster's are sh*t in my opinon.

 

Many companies that sell exhausts will have sample sounds on there site. Best bet is to go to a mustang show or car show and just walk around and listen and ask questions. Its tough to really tell what the sound really is like just off utube.

 

i always liked borla or magnaflow but like said above, best to go to car show and listen to some setups in person. most of the time videos dont really do it justice
