All of your favorite exhaust companies have prolly changed managment numerous times and you havnt known it. I seriously doubt that new managment is going to effect the product quality of such a large and well known company. David_K said it perfectly with his statment, its not a damn 7-11 or Burger King. Flowmaster has been around sense 1983, do you guys seriously think they hav'nt changed managment before? Also Flowmaster is Incorporated, 1 man doesnt run the show. A group of people make the decisions. If managment is changing, it is probably for the better anyhow.
Too, I dont see how the guy you talked to has all the sudden has "problems" with ALL of their stuff. They still have the same product line! Just because managment changed doesnt mean their assembly line went apesh-t, or they started useing tinfoil instead of aluminum. I bet this new managment is who made the muffler line up available in Stainless Steel...

With a company as successful as Flowmaster, even if they did change management, why would they change their products that drastically? The guy at that shop has probably has a beef with flowmaster and this is his way of showing it. What a perfect way to influence other people. I work in information systems and people at my work always are asking me questions about what kind of computer to get, how fast, etc. If I didn't like a certain brand, for whatever reason, this would be an easy way of getting back at them because people will trust my opinion since I work on them all day long. Get it?

i still don't get how a company could ruin a product like flowmasters. there's a bunch of knock off brands of them that are the same exact thing. it's like a household name now and product. it's not like they'd completely change the design of it. wouldn't make much sense considering other companies are making the knockoffs that are the exact same thing and selling them for half the price. only way i can see flowmaster f'ing up is by jacking the price up even more.

i was lookin into exhuast today for my stang. asked this guy at a muffler shop about flows, and imediatly he says, i stopped sellin them. i was like HUH???? why, and he was like they are under new management and they are having terrible problems with all their stuff. and i was like but i put flows on my truck and they are awesome, and he was like ya how long ago u do it? and i said about 2 years, and he was like ya they were under their old management, my advice to u is stay away from them u will not be satasified. i was shocked to hear this, you think others are agreeing or is he alone on this?

LOUD DOES NOT = NICE SOUND. I have heard plenty of Mustangs that were louder than my Flowmasters. I heard one the other day that was pretty far away to the street he was on. Probably would have given him a ticket, had he headed my way because it was obnoxious. He probably says "everyone stares when I pull in, so they love my exhaust". No they stare because it is soooooo loud and sounds like butt. I am pro-flow but I am very interested in hearing some different set -ups in person so I can decide what I love and what I hate.

I had a guy in a mid-'90's cobra ask me what exhaust i had on my Mach and i told him i had a full bassani system. he said that he could hear my car over top of his an he was running flowmaster. i think he is gonna switch, he was very unhappy about it.
