Arrow BOOST?

I recently installed a 2.93 pulley on my blower which is a 9lb pulley and I am still only reading 6lb of boost? this is a powerdyne blower and I recently fabbed my own discharge tube because the one that came on the car was plastic with no bypass valve, so I bought a 3.5" diameter mandrel bend 90 with a 11" and 6" leg on it and welded a 1" galv barb fitting on it. now the inlet to the blower is pieced together with two 4" 90 with my mass air meter mounted and then a filter could this be my problem? long story short are anderson power pipes worth the money and do you think this is my problem

What other mods do you have? If you have performance heads, cams, exhaust or a 3 core intercooler, your flowing more air so your boost pressure drops.

less back pressure due to better flowing heads intake and exhaust may be where it is gone but like said you are moving more air so it should make more power. boost is only a measurement of restriction. and how tight is the belt are you seeing any belt dust due to it slipping

belt slippage is a good possability, the tensioner on a powerdyne is not a very good design, its not a spring loaded tensioner. although from what i have heard powerdyne all together is not very well designed blower but it came on the car when i bought it, so run with ya got till it breaks right. Is there a correct way to say the proper amount of tension on a belt or just make as tight as possable?

I always pulled the belt on our set up TIGHT with a 3ft bar you could play a tune on the belt. I am not talking about breaking the end of the crank off or anything but it was very tight.

I never used the power pipe a friend of mine had one on his and he liked it I don't know if he picked up cuz when he put the S/C on new he put the pipe on at the same time. I think it is a lot of money for some thing that you could make yourself with out that much problems. But I also know fab work and auto work is not for everyone.I aways ran a draw through Mass air also with the S/C never had any problems with it at all or the customers that I have installed S/C for. But our turbo car is a blow through and I really cant see where it is any better then it was with the draw through. The only reason I went blow through was due to the wastegate venting to the atmosphere.
