Default Headers

I know this will sound like a newb question but it's for my buddy not me, he asked me and I honestly didn't know. He has Koock LT's on his '00 GT..He got them jet hot..is that the same as coated? Does it do the same thing as the coating does? Will he need to replace them in like a year? Thanks guys.

the only negative to ceramic is that it flakes...but i doubt it'll be within the year ...and it's still better to coat them as flaking is a little better than rusting, not to mention the cool temps.
