Default Missing a shift on nitrous?

How bad is it to redline or miss a shift on nitrous.. would this blow the engine or can it handle redlineing with nitrous? When i miss a shift its pretty violent wot redline for a sec..

i guess a window switch would protect against this if it deactivates the nitrous at 6000 rpm or something... but would the engine blow if i didnt have a window switch?

+1 on the window switch! Mine sprays from 3000-6000 rpm, and the rev limiter is set at 6300.

This is just an example of how you could set it up.

Assuming you have a 5 speed, there really is no good reason not to have one.

This is the setup I am considering, right now my car is all stock 03 gt 5 spd.

nx nitrous plate kit 500$

http://www.blowbyracing.com/niexfoefipls.html

ngk tr6 spark plugs 25$

http://www.blowbyracing.com/ngktr6sppl.html

msd digital window switch 154$

http://www.cimotorsports.net/motor-s...ow-switch.html

How safe would this setup be? any real chance to blow the engine if its installed correctly? I dont want to kill this engine lol

I plan to run 100 shot and use 93 octane on the stock 87 tune.. safe enough?

Kit looks fine, but why would you run 93 octane on the the stock tune?

Exactly! It does him no good to run 93 if the car is setup for 87. He needs to advance the timing to take advantage of the higher octane.

i heard running 93 on 87 tune takes the place of reducing the timing(tuning) for the nitrous
