well i dont have any work done with my exhaust yet, but the other day at the strip, a fellow mustang
driver challeged me to a friendly race, and said "it will be even, all i have is exhaust and i see
you do too"

at first i just passed it off as a mistake on his part.....but then i got to thinking.....i bought my car used
and what if the previous owner had a catback installed? How would i be able to tell?

thanks for the help.....as many of you probably know, i have no experience with exhaust setups
and therefor have a lot of questions

 

get down under there and look at the mufflers...Youd be able to tell if theyre aftermarket.

 

The stock ones say Ford on it. Others have their name on them.

 

If there is no name and the muffler is kinda square.....it's a Flowmaster.

 

i still havnt had time to jack my car up......i cant quite see the mufflers wen it sits on the ground, but i will b putin my chin spoiler on in a few days so ill do it all then

it turns out i have a flowmaster catback that i never knew about




now i guess its time to throw an Xpipe on this baby

 

And thats probably worth how much HP gain, 1/2 HP?..LOL
