Default Pacesetter?

i have an 04 with a vortech and im looking into some longtubes with a 3" collector so i can do a 3" exhaust, and throw out my 2.5" x and slp exhaust. so far the only one i have seen with a 3" collector is pacesetter. Anybody have these? are they any good?

If it helps any, I had a pacesetter catback for my old car.. a Probe GT. Rotted out after 4 or 5 years, and was too loud. Personally I wouldn't buy from them again, but I also wouldn't buy non stainless exhaust again, either.

My first O/R H was a Pace Setter. It was multi-piece and once I took it out to put my LT's and shorty H, it basically fell apart. I wouldnt buy anything from them ever again.

My experiance with Pacesetter is limited to LS1 headers, like the other said they are cheaper quality parts, you would probably be ok if had the headers ceramic coated, but the flanges are fairly thind and prone to blowing out header gaskets. IMO look for a better header, esp considering what a PITA they are to put on a 4.6 car
