Side by side till 3rd, he had me by half a car, and we both had to slow down... JESUS H CHRIST.... I just spent 5000 dollars and had the Car custom Tuned to 365 HP only to lose...... Man I need an Intercooler, Smaller Pulley and Headers like NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I dont hit 4OO Hp by the beginning of spring, I am selling the car.

I have heard the GTOs come stock with 400hp at the crank. Intercooler and headers will help a lot.

 

That's messed up! His car should put down around 340 rwhp and weighs 3800lbs. You put down 365 rwhp and weigh 3300lbs...with better gearing to boot!

Hell, when i'm spraying, i'm dead even with my buddy's cammed 06 GTO, and he puts down 420 rwhp.

So, unless you were spinning, or can't drive you should've had no problems!

Since 1999...lol. Seriously, a 99-04 gt weighs anywhere from around 3250-3400 lbs. It depends on which source you get it from.

 

My title says 3323 or something. But thats without a driver.

 

what year and mods to the GTO? you guys go from a roll or from a dig?

 

Titles and what not are not accurate, get your cars on a scale, I bet you guys are surprised.

my '93 notch weighs about 3100 w/ no driver and i have dumped an ez 150+ lbs

my '90 vert was 3650 w/ nobody in the car and 1/2 tank of gas.....so 3800 all day long

i'd bet a '99 vert tags in at almost 4k w/ driver

and i have a DOT scale at my work

 

From a 20 MPH Roll 2nd Gear.. We both weighed our cars on a Scale at work, his car 3900 no Driver, My Gt Vert 3800 No Driver.. we are both 200-220..

His car only has Exhaust+ Headers.. So I still don't get it?
