ok, so i discovered while my car was jacked up the other day, the my mufflers say FLOWMASTER on them

well i didnt know this originaly, but always thought my car sounded pretty deep to be a stock exhaust,

however, how do I know this is a flowmaster catback, and not just flowmaster mufflers?

thanks for the help as im still learning things everyday!

Pipe size. Factory size is 2 1/4, most catbacks are 2 1/2. I think the flowmasters are 2 1/2. Also look at the over the axle bends, if they kinked (not smooth bends) they are more than likely factory. Most catbacks are mandrel bends (smooth).

Seven inches would be the circumference. That is how long it is around. The diameter is across not around. seven inch diameter piping, you would be able to fit ur head in it.

MATH LESSON:

Pie X Diameter = Circumference

Soooooo.....take your circumference divided by pie....and you will get the diameter of the pipe!!!!

Edit: So by your circumference, you are looking like stock piping. They might be welded in mufflers....

Another math lesson. It is pi (as in the Greek letter), not pie. Although I do have to admit, pie is more interesting.
