ok guys ive got about $6000 to spend on my 98 GT that has only an o/r midpipe and loudmouth exhaust. I think im goin with a kenne bell blower with 9psi to start. is this a good choice? what else should i do?

 

PI swap as a start. then get a vortech or procharger.

I would get the PI heads and intake ($1000) then a forged rotating assy ($2000 installed) and a Vortech or Procharger ($3500) and install it your self... then get it tuned for another $500. So that only puts you $1500 over the limit but you will make close to 550+ to the wheels.

Ebay. I have a set of ported PI heads if you wanna buy them.

 

Don't forget about upgrading your suspension and brakes if your gonna do all that engine work....otherwise you're in for some surprises when trying to stop at that next red light after burning that ricer next to you. Just my .02
