Default x pipe ?

If I were to get axle back exhaust, would adding a o/r x pipe make it louder or any difference in the sound at all?

Also, if you were to add LT headers in the future, would you have to get a shorty x pipe now or would a full length x pipe worth with LT's.

Yes the o/r x will make it significantly louder. You can either cut the full length x to fit the long tubes, or buy a shorty x.

a shorty x will be cheaper I assume. And Ill have to be switching the mid pipe out to get it inspected...but no biggie.

Does putting axle backs with no muffler on make it fail emissions test?

It depends on how they test, bit it is very likely that no mufflers would fail. Every state goes about it differently.

If u think u are gonna be buying LT's then dont buy a mid pipe just yet because you will have to be switching to a shorty mid pipe when u get the LTs anyways, so why waiste the $$$

Yeah long tubes and a new mid pipe kinda go hand in hand. You have to get a new mid pipe with the LTs.

If you're getting LT's, no need to mess with an o/r pipe yet. I would like LT's, but they are too expensive for me and too much work to put on. My o/r h and stingers will do.
