Default Top end question

I want to start buying a hci combo but will be buying 1 part at a time since I don't have enough to get the heads intake and cams all at once. My question is what is the best order to get each part? Like which part should I get first second and third. Thanks.

heads first...biggest cost, longest savings. and can be used alone for a decent power gain. an intake on stock heads is worth nothing...the stock cam is actually decent, throw some 1.7's and some heads, and your in a new ballgame

but base the heads on your total plan. dont get 2.02 heads if your gonna do a stage 1 tfs , or dont wanna possibly notch the pistons

make sure it's a proven combo...or get the heads and intake, spend whatever you have for port matching, and valve/bowl work

then have a custom cam made.
