i have an 88 gt convertible 5 spd with bbk shorty headers on it now....

i would like to upgrade to mid length or long tubes and upgrade my h pipe..... any suggestions on what to go with
i am looking for quality but with little cost as possible i dont want to blow my wallet.

also will long tubes hit the ground at all my car is lowered approx 1.5"

 

Im not sure how low that they are going to be but they will be low. I have MAC LT's w/ a MAC Pro-Chamber H-Pipe and its pretty darn low. The exhaust hangs below the car. It scrapes everywhere and its not even lowered. BTW, if you are changing your exhaust I would go with an x-pipe. They make more power (not alot more but some) and they sound alot better. Just my 2 cents.
