Default full exhaust header tips.. recomendations.

planning on doing my whole exhaust and headers just dont know what products to go for the only thing i know is that i want the borla catback now from their what do you guys think hpipe or x pipe? and what brand and long tube headers, what brand?

It really depends on how much money you want to spend. There are headers out there that are designed for just about every price point. I got my long tubes with H pipe for just shy of about 400 bucks. They are OBX headers and I think there a knock off of BBK . As for the X or H pipe , the x pipe gives you a bit better scavenging effect and makes a bit more power, I choose an H pipe because I don't like the sound of the X it is a little too raspy sounding to me. One thing I can tell you about the long tubes is that when you go looking for them make sure you get the correct set for your trans, some headers are made to fit around a manual trans while other are made to fit around an auto.....

ok so i was thinking on the bbk longtube headers with their bbk xpipe and the borla cat back you think this will have a nice sound or naaaaa due to the xpipe?

H and X pipes give basically the same sound. H pipes have a little raspier sound IMO. I would go H pipe with BBK shorties and BBK hi-flo catted H-pipe.
